  • April 18 --- Three 30-year-old males were slashed during a 4 a.m. house party on the 1100 block of West State Street, police said. Jerome Boles of Ewing and Trentonians Rodney Rattley and Isaac Bivens Jr. got into a heated argument with three black males believed to be of Jamaican descent, police said.  “Due to the dispute the party was ended, and everyone was pushed out of the house,” said Detective Sgt. Pedro Medina of the Trenton Police Department. “While out in the street, the fight continued, with the suspects stabbing all of the three victims.” Bivens suffered several stab wounds to his body and underwent emergency surgery at Capital Health’s trauma center, police said, adding that Bivens was listed stable condition after the surgery. Boles received stitches for a laceration to his hand, and Rattley was stitched up to close knife wounds to his neck and shoulder, cops said.

  • April 18 --- A stabbing occurred Sunday at the Passions Night Club at 803 East State St. in the Wilbur section near Chambers Street. It occurred about 1:50 a.m. when Juan Turner, 52, was slashed under his right eye and on his right arm and chest by an “unruly” Hispanic patron. Police said Turner was attacked when he tried to break up a fight between the unruly man and a bouncer. Police also said that a second Hispanic man aided the unruly man in the assault. Turner’s injuries weren’t considered life-threatening. Police described the unruly patron as a short and stocky Hispanic male who was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. Cops described the second attacker as  a short and thin Hispanic male with dark hair.

  • April 9 --- Police are on the hunt for a man who raped a woman as she was leaving her job in the city on Friday night. The woman left work about 5:30 p.m. and walked to her car in the parking garage on Yard Avenue. As she entered the vehicle, she was attacked from behind by a man who forced her into the car and began sexually assaulting her, police said. The attacker was described as a black male with dark skin, about 5-foot-7, with a medium build, brown eyes and short black hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt at the time.

  • April 4 --- 41 year old Ariel DeLeon lost the tip of his little finger as the result of being attacked with a broken bottle during a fight at a party Sunday night.  The victim could not recall where the party was held. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 5 inches tall.

  • April 1 --- Police ramped up their investigation Thursday into the case of a 7-year-old girl who they say was gang-raped by a group of men while her 15-year-old stepsister watched and got paid for it. Police conducted a pre-dawn raid at the troubled public housing complex, a high-rise apartment building so dangerous that officers are hired as security guards at night. Hours before, they arrested a 20-year-old Trenton man on charges he had sex with the teenager in one of the apartments. Gregory Joseph Leary was booked Wednesday (March 31) night on charges of statutory rape and endangering the welfare of a child. Under New Jersey law, the 15-year-old is too young to consent to sex. Leary was being held today in jail on a $200,000 cash bond. Police said they are investigating whether Leary was involved with the rape of the 7-year-old at a party Sunday (March 28) night in the apartment complex. Thursday morning, police arrested 27 people on unrelated outstanding warrants during a sweep of Rowan Towers.
